Private Vehicles Insurance This product provides Liability and Own Damage coverage for motor vehicles operated by individuals for private use, i.e. for social, domestic and pleasure purposes and for the policyholders business (but not for the carriage of goods). Core Coverages (a) Third Party Liability (including passengers of the insured car) for - material damage, and
- injuries
(b) Third Party, Fire and Theft (c) Comprehensive, covering Third Party Liability and Own Damage (loss or damage to the insured vehicle). The private vehicles policies can include the following additional benefits: driving off the road, i.e. not only in public roads, driving another private vehicle (other than the insured one), passenger liability, liability in respect of a trailer attached to the car, road assistance in case of an accident or breakdown and coverage for personal accidents to any authorized driver. If the insured chooses the Comprehensive cover, he has the option to buy a package like the *Wide Coverage*, which covers all the above plus breaking of glass in the windscreen or the window, damage to locks or loss or damage to the keys, loss or damage to rugs, clothing or personal items, strike, riot and civil commotion etc, natural perils such as flood, storm, earthquake etc, increase of the limit of liability for material damage set by the law, loss of use of the car. He can also add selectively new for old and/or increased benefits for personal accidents of authorized drivers. Customer Profile Any individual residing in Cyprus (whether national or expatriate) and any company or organization operating in Cyprus who owns a private vehicle. Value Added / Advantage - Policies are written in clear easy to understand Greek or English, based on the models supplied by the Insurance Association of Cyprus.

Additional Information Policies are valid in respect of their Third Party Liability element in the territory of any State, outside Cyprus, which is a signatory party of the Multilateral Guarantee Agreement. The signatory parties are the following: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Denmark, Switzerland, Greece, United Kingdom, Italy, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Croatia, Luxembourg, Norway, Hungary, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Czech Republic, Finland.
